Tomorrow I’m going to the Illinois Association of College and Research Libraries conference to offer a presentation. This is the first time in many years (ever?) where I will be presenting on my own. Am I nervous? Not about standing in front of people and speaking, but about the content. I know the content, but some folks out there may not like what I have to say and THAT is what makes me nervous. Fielding questions and comments about the research I’ve performed and making sure I do so in a professional, non-defensive manner
that is of course assuming folks will come hear what I have to say…
